The Women’s Premier League (WPL) enters its fourth season in 2026, continuing to grow as one of the most competitive and respected women’s football competitions in the region. The league is powered by a strong and progressive partnership between Hills Football, Blacktown District SFA, and Granville District SFA, bringing together some of the best clubs and talent across Western Sydney.

With a new three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the associations, this collaboration will continue to strengthen the competition’s foundations — ensuring long-term growth, stability, and opportunity for female players looking to compete at the highest level. 🌟

Expanding Pathways: The Women’s U21 Premier League (21W/1)

For the 2026 season, the Women’s U21 Premier League (21W/1) will also become part of this three-association partnership between HFI, BDSFA, and GDSFA.

This exciting addition creates a clear and structured pathway for young, talented footballers to transition from youth to senior women’s football. The 21W/1 competition is designed to:

• Provide a high-quality, united development platform across three major associations

• Deliver a professional, competitive environment for emerging female players

• Offer a direct pathway into the Women’s Premier League, bridging the gap between youth football and elite senior competition
